Together with other Neo-Expressionists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, he developed into a luminary in this field. Baechler used vibrant colors to create energetic images. He incorporated the visual language of Pop Art and symbols into his works. By the early 1980s, he had developed into a neo-expressionist painter.
