Horst Janssen was a German illustrator who remained loyal to his technique throughout his life. For him, drawing was not preparation for a later work, but the work itself. As an internationally known artist, he significantly shaped the image of the Hamburg art scene in the 1960s. He was considered intelligent, intense and crazy, and lived excessively. The work Classic L-Break from May 19, 1990 is one of the artist's later works.
